norwegian snowflakes quilt from Making A Lather

I started cutting and piecing Norwegian snowflake in July  on my treadle. It is a complicated idea to set up, but, easy to piece. It uses a lot of blue 2 inch scraps. And there are a lot of pieces. The pattern is a grid like block. I had three sets of 4 to make a big block, and I was anxious to see how it will look.

norwegian snowflakes from Making A Lather

As I was sorting scraps, I pulled any blues for a new quilt that uses 2 inch strips. It is a quilted twins free pattern, called norwegian snowflakes, I found here. I had finished my evening treadle project and was ready to just sew strips together. It seemed to take forever. I decided to do strips of 4, since the pattern has sections of 4.
